As some of the locals are already aware we have a new Dungeons & Dragons RPG group starting up this Saturday at 5:00PM!!! This will be the start of many 4th Edition campaigns for new and veteran players alike. We have a new Dungeon Master that will be starting everyone from scratch with character creation and campaign. We welcome anyone and everyone even those who have never played before. Even if you might not be interested, go ahead and tell all your friends.
Now for our second announcement, Sun Coast Comics is happy to inform Jacksonville and the surrounding the areas that we are now an APPROVED GAMES WORKSHOP STOCKIST STORE!!! Sounds impressive doesn’t it? 
What it means for our locals is that we now have a significant area of our store dedicated to the GLOBALLY popular gaming miniatures lines such as WARHAMMER FANTASY, WARHAMMER 40K, & LORD OF THE RINGS! We are also eager to start a league so anyone wishing to help us out with that do not hesitate to stop by and introduce yourself. For those that don’t know Games Workshop is the largest gaming miniature company in the world accounting for over 60% of table top miniature gaming. This company offers superb corporate support to local leagues, shops, and tournaments. This is primarily a “community based” gaming format which we feel is right in line with our current operating practices at Sun Coast Comics.

Sun Coast Comics is currently in the process of adding hobby supplies manufactured by Gunze Sangyo. The company that specializes in acrylic paints, paint markers, and modeling tools all geared towards the assembly and detailing of gundam model kits. With their highly successful line of “Mr. Color” paints, gundam paint markers, Mr. Clear, Mr. Surfacer, and many others Sun Coast Comics modelers are now able to take their imported mech model kits to an all new level!
Much to Sun Coast Comics surprise this latest addition has also drawn the attention of another group of japanese import hobbyists. The high end Super Dollfie & Dollfie collectors and customizers are forever searching for local suppliers of the Mr. Hobby line of products. The high end, super posable, ultra realistic, vinyl dolls are a testament to the quality of products offered by Gunze Sangyo. As one customer stated, “I wouldn’t let any other paint touch my $1000.00 doll!”…… and you folks think gundams are expensive!!! Ha!!!

In honor of our new gundam selection we are hosting the first of many Gundam Parties!!! This event will take place on Sunday, April 13th starting at 1:00PM. It will end whenever you want it to! Here’s how is works:
Show up and purchase any model kit in the store (that’s right it doesn’t even have to be a gundam, we have tons of mechs to choose from) and we’re going to upcharge you by only $5.00! With that being said, we provide tools, gundam markers, pizza, and gundam anime!!! We’re going to sit around all day eating pizza, building gundams, shooting the breeze, and watching the gundam legacy unfold on a 50″ Plasma TV!
We would like for everyone to R.S.V.P. as soon as possible so we know how many tools, cutting, mats, and pizzas we’re going to have to provide. If you don’t know until the last minute no worries you’re still welcome! Bring your friends and show them just how amazing gundam models can be. As a matter of fact we’ll even add this, whoever brings the most friends (who purchase a model and participate) will receive FREE admission, FREE pizza, and a FREE set of GUNDAM MARKERS (which are very difficult to come by)!!!
So go forth and spread the word my minions!!! >:-)
Most ages are welcome. This is probably not the type of event for children under the age of 10. Parental attendance is required for children under the age of 13. Parents be advised in order to assemble these kits your children will be using very sharp hobby tools.

Hey Jacksonville, you demanded it you got it!!! After 8 months of aggressively seeking a new Gundam distributor we found one! Our first shipment of 60 new gundam model kits arrived just this past week and they are going fast! We are now attempting to go direct with Bandai in hopes of lowering our prices for all of you. For those of you who are not local do not fret, we’ll be carrying these in our on-line store soon enough!
We welcome those of you who have already collected gundams for a while to send us photos of you showing them off for our CUSTOMER GALLERY.
We also will be hosting a monthly GUNDAM PARTY starting on April 13th! DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!
Here’s how it works:
Show up the day of the party and purchase whatever gundam model kit you prefer. It doesn’t matter if it’s a $15 gundam or a $150 gundam. As a matter of fact, you can even purchase any of our Kotobukiya - Super Robot Wars model kits! We’ll up-charge you by about $5.00 which will cover the tools, paints, and pizza provided by us! We’re even going to bring in a large screen t.v. (50″ Plasma!) for Gundam anime series!!! Stop by the store for more details.
