Sun Coast Comics is your average day people who have an extraordinary passion for comics and anime. Sun Coast Comics is a family owned and operated business. Collectively, Sun Coast Comics has over 15 years experience in dealing and retailing comic books and collectibles. We’ve maintained comic subscriptions across the globe in countries such as Germany, Bosnia, Italy, Afghanistan, Iraq, and of course, the great United States of America! Sun Coast Comics is physically located in Jacksonville, Florida and retail online to collectors of all ages and backgrounds. As retailer Sun Coast Comics offers you extensive selections of comics, anime, trade paper backs, mangas, statues, action figures, apparel, trading card games, board games, miniature games, protective supplies, anime rentals, comic book subscriptions (local & abroad), pre-order services, and a great law-a-way program. In short, Sun Coast Comics has something for everyone!

Sun Coast Comics acknowledges the fact that they do not carry any necessities in their store and do everything in their power to help you feel you are getting your money’s worth!
History:
Sun Coast Comics was originally opened for business on December 12, 1992 by Nghia Tai Do (known as Tai). He was 24 years old when he opened the store. He had collected for around 7 years and stopped for almost 5 years when his cousin asked him for a ride to the local comic book store. That one visit was all it took for the comic bug to bite again and within 6 months Sun Coast Comics opened.
Some of Tai’s fondest memories are the Pokemon tournaments and the following he had which, lasted a good 3 years during his tenure. He says it was most rewarding to watch the kids learning the cards, improving their reading skills, developing strategies, and the gains in their social interaction. As a retailer one of his fondest memories was the Death of Superman comicbook event which happened to coincide with his Grand Opening. During a recent conversation between Tai and the new owner he stated that the store will always be a part of him and he thinks fondly of it every single day.
Sun Coast Comics is the second oldest comic book store in Jacksonville. It has outlasted 24 other comic stores since its inception and is here to stay. The new owner’s intend on doubling its size before the end of 2008. This expansion will be dedicated to a growing gaming trend at the store to include a large Xbox 360 Lan Center. On December 20, 2006 Bill & Sabrina Eubank purchased the store from Tai Do. The couple has many years of experience as comic dealers while stationed in Germany for over 8 years with the U.S. Army. Since their arrival the store has been completely renovated, restocked, and reorganized. They have increased the selection of DIRECT MARKET inventory as well as tripling the size of the Japanese anime rental library. With the remodeling done they have turned their attention to expanding and improving the services they offer such as the new 8 week lay-a-way program that has been met with much enthusiasm!
