We have a large selection of gaming items such as deck boxes, double deck boxes, dice, dice bags, counters, card protectors and more gaming goods to have great gaming experience!

    CUSTOMER GALLERY

    Here we will be showcasing our local customers with their obsessions…err… we mean collections!!! Just about anything goes. Doesn’t matter if it’s Gundams, Statues, Comics, Action Figures, Replicas, Dioramas, or Grandma’s ancient collection of peanut butter jars!!! If you’re a local customer and are willing to share pictures of you with your collections let us know! We’ll even come out and photograph them for you! Check back here often for new pictures!

    Free Comic Book Day

    What is Free Comic Book Day?
    That is a great question! FCBD is an industry specific holiday, whereby, we as comic book retailers seek to bring free comics to all those who enter our stores. It is a single day every year when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world are giving them away absolutely free! Most comic shops build an annual event around that day for such happenings as creator/artist signings, special gaming tournaments, activities for the public, raffles, door prizes, portfolio reviews by local comic book studios, and much, much more!

    When is FCBD?
    It is the first Saturday of every May. For the year 2007, it was held on May 5th, for 2008 it will be held on May 3rd. Visit our website regularly for updates and to obsess over the countdown to FCBD 2008 ticker we have on our home page!

    WHAT WILL WE DO FOR FCBD 2008?
    Well, for starters last year we gave away nearly 3000 brand new comics! We had approximately 800 visitors come through the store enjoying different activities and leaving with handfuls of freebies! This year, we are expecting to nearly double those numbers! We had the Cadre Corner last year along with some independent comic artists. This year we will have the legendary artist Dick Giordano! Those of you know your comics know that he was responsible for DC Comic’s success in the 80’s with comics such as Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns”. He will be here for sketches and autographs. We are also happy to host Alpha Cat Comics with their latest titles. They are a local favorite and a great group of guys to meet! Last year we had a 99cent comic sale on over 100,000 back issues, this year we’ll be bringing out more back issues and pricing them down to 50 CENTS PER COMIC!!! We will have photo sessions again with Star Wars characters from Jacksonville’s First Coast Jedi Knights, Super Girl will be making an appearance as well as many other characters throughout comics and japanese anime.

    If you want to dress up as your favorite super-hero feel free! We’re looking to have as many characters as possible for the event! To make things interesting we’ll be giving out discounts on our comic book sale for those of you who where costumes or even a comic related t-shirt!
