Pre-Order/Lay-A-Way!
For those of you that we have not had the pleasure of meeting in our store front don’t know about our NEW pre-order and lay-a-way programs. These two programs are turning out to be the best decisions we have ever made for our collectors! As collectors we know all too well the frustration of seeing a beautiful, brand new, PRICEY collectible that is somewhat beyond the maximum effective range of our wallet!!! So listed below are the details and policies for these services:

PRE-ORDER SERVICE
As most of you know, nearly everything that comes into a comicbook store is “Advance Solicited”. For those that don’t know it means every month we received a 500 page catalog of nearly 10,000 items releasing anytime from two to six months out. Comics are typically two to three months out as statues, action figures, etc. are usually four months or more from shipping. Knowing this can be a substantial benefit to you should you choose to take advantage of it. With our Pre-order service most items only require 10% down (some require more) and the rest due upon arrival. Most people pay a little ($5-$25) every time they stop by the store (or each paycheck) until it’s paid off. However, you have the flexibility of paying it however you like until it arrives. Considering we receive the “Previews” catalog at the start of the month, on many items you could actually have six months to pay off some items. With many statues today running better than $200.00 that breaks down to nearly a dollar a day!!! We record all payments made on an easy to follow log sheet where you initial each and every payment.
LAY-A-WAY SERVICE
For items that are already in the store we provide you with an 8 week lay-a-way service. Again, only 10% down (you can put more down if you like) and you have 8 weeks to pay it off. With both programs the required deposit is non-refundable if you cancel for whatever reason. Items that are $99.00 or more are also subject to a 15% re-stocking fee (which has yet to happen). In both cases it’s a sure fire way of insuring you get what you want without breaking the bank or causing your wallet/purse to spotaneously combust!!! Just so you know I’ve actually seen that! Not a pretty sight! 
******NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS… WE WILL BE EXTENDING THIS SERVICE TO OUR ONLINE CUSTOMERS THROUGH OUR ONLINE STORE COMING SOON!!!****** This will have to be maintained manually for some time until we can get a custom database set up to handle this. So to our collectors abroad you too will be able to take advantage of real pre-orders (not the 30 day cons that take place on eBay for pre-orders). If anyone out there already knows of a custom software setup that works with e-commerce sites for lay-a-way and pre-orders feel free to let us know! Same goes for any custom software for comic subscription management!!!
